This is a hand-painted, compact plastic figure set including a railway staff employee, attired in black trousers with a smart blue uniform jacket and matching peaked cap. Included with the figure is a remote, track-side telephone communication kiosk and the figure is configured so that he is using the associated phone to contact a colleague. Included with the set is a small section of a two-tier safety barrier to protect any operators from harm by passing trains. Completing the set is a sheet of paper which includes suitable safety signs and notices which can be displayed on the telephone kiosk. This is a compact but nonetheless useful set that could be used in a station or marshalling yard environment and as such could bring an extra visual counterpoint and point of detail to a scenario.
