You have added the extra dimension of sound or smoke effects to some of your locomotives too. So what’s left to further enhance your layout? But maybe you are put off by the thought of having to wire up and solder each light. Well, there are numerous products that require NO SOLDERING at all! One such example is this working buffer stop light from Train-Tech. It represents a modern version having 2 lights. It is powered from your track: simply clip this lamp to the track close to the buffer stop (buffer stop not included). If your layout is DCC powered, the 2 lights will show constantly in a very prototypical fashion. For DC users, 1 light will come on, varying in brightness according to the power level being applied to the track.
