Whether you are a scratch-builder, someone who enjoys modifying kits, or perhaps someone simply needing to renumber a ready-to-run locomotive, there are plenty of letters and numbers in various sizes, colours and styles to help you avoid the task of hand-drawing them! These can come in the form of water-slide transfers, which are immersed in warm water in order to ‘slide’ the letters or numbers from a backing sheet, or dry transfers that require no water but are simply transferred by rubbing over the carrier sheet with a pencil or similar. This set by Woodland Scenics contains a sheet 5 5/8” x 8 ¼” (143mm x 210mm) of black letters in Extended Gothic font and sizes 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”, 3/16”, ¼” (1.5, 2.3, 3.1, 4.7, 6.3mm).
