Land Rover Series I 88'' Canvas REME

This military version of the Land Rover Series 1 88” with Canvas Back has also appeared in both 1:76 and 1:43 scale in the REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) livery. As authentically decorated as the larger Land Rovers, we see it as used by REME, probably transporting their mechanics with the responsibility of maintaining their military equipment.

Decorated in dark green with olive green ‘canvas’ back, it carries a military registration 97 BP 56. Its other military markings are also printed on either side of the signature Series 1 88” radiator grille. The interior seating is dark grey and the model is rounded off with chrome trim and a spare wheel on the bonnet.
