This 7-plank open coal wagons represents an example produced by the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Company in the early years of the 20th century. Vallance was a brewery in Sidmouth, Devon, operating until 1939 it is believed. The wagons may have been used for the transportation of anthracite for the brewing process.
