Cattle Wagon - British Railways livery

It is presented in BR Bauxite with running numberB893778.These wagons were used to carry livestock, which had to becrammed in, standing up, so that they would support each other andtherefore not be thrown around. They were also used to transportfruit and vegetables, and when used in this way the upper section wascovered with a tarpaulin. They were also used to carry barrels ofbeer, taking advantage of the ventilation to keep it cool! You canlegitimately include a cattle wagon or two in a passenger trainformation, as they were among a small number of goods wagon typesthat were run in passenger trains. These are produced with alternaterunning number NR-45B(A), and NR-45B(C).
